Contacted Jeremy numerous times over the winter and he was very helpful and reassuring-held the bike with no credit card deposit. We toured for 1 week with friends from the U.S. and the Vulcan 900 was just fine for Nova Scotia riding. A great touring experience !! If you are thinking of doing the same anywhere in the Maritimes, call him- you will not be disappointed!!

We had a great time and the motorcycle was great !

Good service and loved the Cabot Trail and now understand why so many folks recommend that ride.Rode through some rain on our first day and our clothes stayed dry in the saddle baggaage. This definitely ranks as a bucket list item.

Recommened awesome, these Kawasaki Versys are surprisingly nimble and quick, they can easily handle the tight winding curves of the Nova Scotia Coast. They are Comfortable and powerfull enough to handle the Cabot Trail in confidence, they are great trust worthy adventure machines, everyday dependable, versitle maintenance free touring motorcycles, all your gear fits neatly in the panniers and trunk, these are lockable and easily assessable keeping your valubles dry and safe. J. K. Walker Rentals are super helpful so you can enjoy a sucessful trouble free adventure tour through Nova Scotia,Cape Breton and the Maritimes. I highly recommend the Versys and J.K. Walker Rentals they will take care for you. Thank you Jeremy you made our vacation memorable. Hugo Schwandt- Alberta, Canada

I rented Jeremy's 900 cc Vulcan for three weeks and had an awesome adventure touring around Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland, and even made it out to Red Bay, Labrador. No mechanical problems with the bike, it ran great. One word of caution, the leather saddle bags on the Vulcan are water resistant, not water proof. That minor problem was easily resolved by using plastic trash bags as liners inside the saddle bags.

I'm a 73 year old seasoned rider. The service from Jeremy (JK Walker Rentals) was 110%. He even dropped off and picked up the bike at the hotel in Halifax. If you want to rent a motorcycle in Nova Scotia look no further – call Jeremy and you’ll be in good hands on a great bike.

If you have any doubts about doing this, don't! We rented the two Versys for a week and went around Halifax, PEI, and the Cabot Trail and had a great time, the bikes ran very well and it was such an easy process. We drove there from Toronto and Jeremy let us park our truck at his place so we had no worries about that, just pull up, load up the bikes and we were off. I highly recommend doing this, the waterfront in Halifax is among the best I have seen and Cheticamp and Baddeck were great little places to stay while on the trail. We had an amazing 2 wheeled vacation, thanks!

Hi Jeremy,

We are back in Germany and unfortunately have to work again, although we would have liked to stay in Nova Scotia forever. I send you some pictures, and as I mentioned I will write a report for a German motorcycle magazine. In the beginning I had some problems getting used to my Ducati Multistrada again, the handlebar was too narrow, the footpegs are at the wrong position and the brakes seemed very agressive for me. Now I am used to it again. Thank you again for your kindness. Best regards
Armin-Germany(2014)

In the meantime I returned to Germany.

I'd like to thank you again for that wonderful bike. The trip was just great and as I promised, I attached some photos. When I visit Nova Scotia in the future, I will contact you again for sure.

Best regards,

Oliver Nottbeck-Germany

"In the middle of October I rode Jeremy's green Versys from Halifax to Antigonish to the tippy-top of Cape Breton and back. Four days. Three nights. 1200 km. I lucked out with the weather, blasted around the Cabot Trail on a fun and reliable bike, and met some awesome people. I'd say it was the trip of a lifetime, but I'm already planning to do it again. Throughout the process Jeremy was super-friendly, super-cool, and did everything he could to help me out - including dropping off and picking up the bike at my hotel in Halifax. Thanks dude!"

Jeremy from JK Walker Rentals was absolutely amazing! I’m a gal from the prairies and could not refuse the temptation of Cabot Trail. They don’t lie when they say it’s “biker’s paradise”. With wicked good switchbacks, twisties and views that will leave you breathless. Combine all that with a steady hog under you and it was paradise. I rented the 900cc Suzuki Vulcan, she was a dream. She had just the right weight for those really windy highway roads and endless power when I needed it. If you need to rent a motorbike in Nova Scotia look no further – call Jeremy and you’ll be in good hands. He was great for arranging a drop-off and pick up times/destination. Thanks Jeremy! You made my trip smooth and enjoyable. See you next time J

Rented the Kawasaki Versys for a three day exploration of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Can't say enough about the service recieved from Jeremy. The entire rental experience was easy and hassle free. The early morning drop off and flexible pick up made for an enjoyable vacation for me.

4 Days of Great Riding

Todd --
Jeremy ran the entire engagement very professionally, and we couldn't have been happier. He dropped off the bike at our hotel, then met us at the airport on the way out after four days. He helped give some recommendations on where to go and set us up with appropriate panniers and storage for the trip.

Very highly recommended.

Three days of road trips!

We were fortunate to find Walker Rentals to rent a motorcycle for three days this summer. I am from the south shore of NS, while my husband is from Turkey- where we live. I’ve been bragging about how nice the roads are in NS (especially compared to Turkey) and we finally decided to find a place to rent a motorcycle. Mr Walker couldn’t have made it easier. He had an assortment of gear for us to choose from (since we couldn’t bring it all from Turkey) and the price was great.
My husband knows for sure now that not only are Novs Scotian roads perfect (pavement and scenery) but the hospitality is as well! Walker Rentals made sure we had everything we needed, including a wonderful bike- which we called “Greenie” for the three days. We wish we could have rented the bike for longer.
We rented a Kawasaki Versys, and combined some geocaching along the way. The first road trip was along the Aspatogan Peninsula, and on to Lunenburg. The second day we went to Peggy’s Cove. The last day we drove out to Blomidan.
Without a doubt, we will rent another bike from Walker Rentals in the future!

Chris Ellison, Travel Journalist from Canadian Detinations Magazine in Ontario flew in and wrote an article about his experience driving our Vulcan through Cape Breton.

"I then contacted JK Walker Exotic
Car Share near Halifax (www.jkwalkerexoticcarshare.
ca) and connected
with a great guy, Owner Jeremy Walker,
and soon booked the motorcycle rental.
As far as I am aware, his company is the
only one in Atlantic Canada that will rent
a motorcycle, and even a Ferrari under
certain circumstances. The primary
motorcycles available are the Kawasaki
Versys and Vulcan 900 LT. I booked the
Vulcan and then eagerly finished planning
the rest of my trip.
I flew into Halifax with butterflies
in my stomach."

"I already missed Cape Breton and I felt as if I experienced
it more fully than 20 years ago. I suppose it’s because,
as a photographer riding a motorcycle,
I was focused on every detail,
every turn, every nook and cranny.
At that moment, however, I was
physically and mentally exhausted.
Funny thing is that the next morning
I longed to do it all again."

Rick from Ohio came for a June day trip. Rick said.... "Best wishes. The bike ran great.

We look forward to coming back again when we can spend more time in Nova Scotia.

Great seafood and friendly people."

Bruce from BC enjoying a road trip with his daughter

"Jeremy, thanks for the bike, it preformed excellently and was a good sized
bike for our tour of all of the Nova Scotia coastal roads. One week was not
enough time though, it would have been much better to rent the bike for two
weeks. The drivers in Nova Scotia were very courteous, friendly, didn't run
lights and stayed on their side of the road."
My daughter and I had a great trip."
